Q: When trying to view a clipped image during Playback, after getting a “Clip Succeeded Message”, I get an error stating that the stored clip is unavailable for playback.
A: Your security settings in Internet Explorer may be preventing you from downloading the file. You may need to set your Internet Explorer to allow you to “Run As Administrator”.
To set Internet Explorer 10 to “Run as Administrator”

Q: When I try to open a saved downloaded video file, I am unable to open the video. I get a message that says, “This file isn’t playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.”
A: Try downloading a different media player. We recommend VLC Media Player at www.videolan.org
Q: When the camera is connected to the computer via an Ethernet cable, the IP Address: 192.168.1.64 is not pulling up the camera on the computer.
A: Make sure you change your Computer’s IP address to 192.168.1.99 by going to “Control Panel” -> “Network and Internet” ->Network and Sharing Center > Local Area Connections > Properties > Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv4) Properties and then configuring adapter’s IP address as follows:
IP address: 192.168.1.99
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: empty
Q: I’ve downloaded and run the Java Plug-In during installation but I still keep getting a message that states I need to download the Java Plug-In and it won’t allow me to view live video, what do I do?
A: Please make sure that your computer’s anti-virus software is not blocking the Java Plug-In from downloading and running. Uninstall your anti-virus software or approve the download in your anti-virus software and the download should run smoothly and you should be able to view live video.
